... stands for iteration.
Iterative work seeks to develop the whole from the beginning and adds levels of definition and understanding over time. It allows for simultaneous work on parts and the effects of those parts on the whole. Working iteratively allows the incorporation of emergent behaviour into the solution. Solutions emerge like a viewfinder coming into focus.
Co
... stands for collaboration.
Collaborative processes need to support decisions – by design – and unleash group genius; the deep source of creativity and innovation which is consciously and subconsciously tapped into by participants when they create commitment to act.
De
... stands for decision by design.
This is a collaborative process which draws out the ideas of large groups, combines the with objective facts and leading practices in effective new ways, iterates and tests the models that result, and generate concrete decisions and actions.
