Creativity is needed to find new tools and solutions to tackle the conditions of our time
The assumptions, tools and frameworks that leaders have used to make decisions over the past decade appear inadequate. It is imperative for leaders of all walks of life to develop new capabilities if they expect to be successful and to maintain relevance. This 'Creative Imperative' is fundamental to every organisation in the world today: Corporate, Government, Multilateral and NGO.
Whether it's the global environment, nuclear proliferation, global poverty or global governance, the challenge is finding the energy to address tomorrow's problems today. This is not something that can be done by the public sector alone, or without business, but it should be done collectively.
Creativity is needed to find new tools and solutions to tackle the conditions of our time. The world is simply too complex to do this alone.
What is needed is dialogue and partnerships to extract as much creative juice as possible. But ultimately, the creative imperative is about innovation and differentiation and has geographical and functional implications. Business is in a unique position to play a leading role in helping to shape the global agenda, and can provide government and civil society with the tools and capabilities to better adapt. It's funny, but everyone talks about creativity nowadays as though it's someone else's problem.
Our fundamental belief is that we're all creative geniuses. And it's our job to maximise your Group Genius so that the collective creativity is more than simply the sum of the parts.
We work with all kinds of organisations to enable them to rapidly resolve complex problems. In short,
we accelerate ideas to action.
